Nick didnt walk away because of age, or because he lost the bowl game, or because Ms Terry was ill. No. Nick Saban walked away because he no longer had a competitive advantage in getting the best recruits from the state of Alabama. He was getting dominated by Hugh Freeze for instate recruits in the 2024 and 2025 classes.
And reportedly from unnamed sources, Nick asked Ryan Williams point blank if he was going to honor his commitment to the Tide. Ryan looked Saban right in his eyes and said, "coach, i have to make a business decision. I'm flipping to Auburn." Nick, stunned by the "War Eagle" Ryan added afterwards, said, "frick it, I'm done". A few hours later he hung it up and Ryan decommitted right afterwards.
The ALABAMA fanbase is in utter shambles, and Huge Freeze flipping Ryan Williams was the real reason
