That is why. I'm sure he meant it was done behind the scenes and then the truth came out.

Really seems like saban is terrified of Gus at this point. Seems desperate.

I have problems with Saban, but I don't blame him for taking a position that he feels serves his employer, players, coaches, and himself. That's life. I expect no less (excuse the pun) from Les.

You have posted the same thing about 20 times today.

You seem scared that if your coach loses his gimmick he's gonna get exposed for the high school coach that he is

Also Saban was pushing this hard before the season started last year so it has nothing to do with Gus.

I could care less if some think Saban is a coward or if it's known Saban wears a pink dress for his Wife at night. As long as Saban wins 3 National Championships every 5 years he's OK in my book. Carry on wannabes....

he's not stupid, he knew the Gus Bus was coming. He'd seen what Gus could do under Chizik and knew without Chizik in the way that Gus would be hard to stop.

"HUNH is the next evolution in football."

I remember when they said that about the wishbone. Football is about skill, preparation, matchups, and a bit of luck. The only things I see that has changed in 4 decades of watching it: integration, and the size and speed of those playing it.

90% of the first page involving your post history has to do with Auburn.

You might want to grab some bench for a while, champ.

It doesn't matter. Auburn doesn't snap the ball with in 10 seconds and didn't run all over Bama because the HUNH. They done it by out manning Bama and with the Read Option, which Saban can't pass a rule to stop. So all this parading by Bama fans acting like they won something is silly. It doesn't affect Gus's offense and all that came out of this is everyone looking at your coach as whiner that wants rules change because someone beat him.

Dunno lil feller. As I said before, this won't go anywhere and I'm not bothered. You need a job or something from what I can tell.

Whether it effects Auburn or not is not the point. The point is that Nickenshit is pulling this cowardly move and hiding behind the preface of player safety. Now he is being called out for it. Gus has ruined his life.

There are way more coaches and people against it than for it. The numbers are not even close and they are going in full force against it during this "discussion period" before the next vote. March 6 they will consider safety and economic impact before passing it.

There is no data or evidence to back the safety issues. The NCAA even said this. Money wise it will take a crap load of money away from the game. Bama is not going to bring in more money if the rules passes but a lot of small schools that use it because of lack of talent would suffer greatly. Fans would quit coming to games if they lose all the time and they aren't going to spend money on team merchandise.

The only people this serves is the few coaches that can't defend it or are old school. Most of which are over the hill and will be gone in a few years anyways. The only reason it passed this step was because Saban and Bret back doored the vote in before anyone for it knew or could come to voice their opinions.

That's the most hyperbolic thing I've read today.

The only people this serves is the few coaches

And football fans
