Funny that Saban always speaks highly of McElwain in public but he's gonna talk shite behind his back while JE is still UA's OC?

Or could it be, wait for it.... Memphis trying to save face after Coach Mac backed out, but then again thats logical and because an AU fan saw something that could be viewed as negative toward saban we have to make the world aware of how bad of a person they think he is. Last I checked he was hired to coach a football team and win championship not pump sunshine up our arse and make us feel good about ourself.

And people wonder why Saban is such a difficult person to work with.
So damn difficult to work with that his coaching staff is like a fricking revolving door since he's been at Bama. How many coaches has he had to replace in the last 5 years?

It makes no sense for saban to put down JMac. I think Jmac backed out and waiting on another job. He makes 500k a year and I think has lost 6 or 7 games in 4 years not to bad at all. Plus, need to come to grips this Sabans O and not Jmac. Jmac is the playcaller much like kirby D. Both O's and D's are Saban's and he just hire's playcallers. Saban has two playcallers for O on staff, ready to go. Plus, when kirby leaves Sal will take over playcalling duties on D. That tweet will be proven untrue...

That's about the dumbest thing I've seen on here in a while... and that's really saying something. Please think before you post again. Or, ...just stop.

That tweet is untrue. From what Im hearing is that JMac was wanting some facility upgrades and some different clauses concerning assistant coaches salaraies and who he would be bringing in the program and Memphis said no. Also, Jmac's name has been being thrown around a bit at Fresno State.

In that case, I'd move on to another team ASAP if I was McElwain.
+1000.
Either Saban is being honest, or playing a bit dirty to keep McE. In either case, I'd be looking for another job asap. I have to believe he's being honest, though.

Memphis offered, Mac said no thanks
More like Memphis offered and McElwain said thanks but no thanks.
