What's changed is this year we are weaker, and we all see it and know it, and I expect he is shielding the current team psychologically. If they see him defend them it will continue to show them he has faith in them.

But, when you're paid 9m a year and the fans see something is awry, you can't get pissed at them for noticing. Stop being a sensitive bitch about it. Just fix the problem before next season.

Saban probably doesn’t give two shits about what entitled fans think or say. He was talking to his team. A team that has struggled to find leadership and play with an identity in 2021.

Saban doesn't give a shite what the fans think for the most part. When he speaks to the press during the season he's speaking to the team. Saban is a psychologist constantly conditioning the team to be in the right place mentally. He believes mental obstacles are huge factors in winning and losing in football and life and he attacks the problem more effectively than any coach in history.
Saban's not above attacking the fans if they're attitudes
