They are going to use which ever source favors LSU. The same source that picks LSU to beat Bama every year. Yea, that source.
No doubt, but this is true of every fanbase. If Martha Stewart released a list of top players that included a Vandy athlete, you can bet I'd be starting threads with names like, "Vanderbilt with a 1st team AA. It's a good thing...."

Is this the thread where a Miss St fan posts a video of his starting QB but no one cares?

Agree. I don't know if Fitz has the speed of Matt Jones, but his long strides make him deceptively fast.
He's a good one.

Qb will never be a position of need at Mississippi State as long as Mullen is at State. If Mullen can make Chris Relf lead a team to 9 wins then I dont think it will ever be a problem.

Nick Marshall ? Hard to compare him to Cam , Tebow and Johny football when they we better passers so they didn't have to run as much.

Thompson is the best QB recruit in Louisiana and is a top 5 QB talent in the country.
I disagree on the first part and HIGHLY disagree on the second part. You're delusional if you think he's a top 5 quarterback in the country. Hes good though and I really do expect him to be a damn good player under Mullen.

Top in Louisiana? Yea, you can make the case but top 5 in the country? Idk. That might be a stretch. Honestly, recruiting is nothing more than a player projections on how well they will do at the next level.

Mainly because he was more talented as a sophomore that Key was as a senior

Yeah, I was just kidding.
The truth of the matter is when Lowell Narcisse is healthy, he can be a dominant player. That doesn't discredit Keytaon at all. He's a hell of a player and you guys are getting a great one. He also knows that Mullen will put him in a great situation to succeed and utilize what he does best.
I think in the end, both teams are getting what they want

I bet you money that less than 10% on this board even know Fitz was a WR in HS until his SR year where he got to play QB.
He is very raw because of this yet Mullen saw a QB future in this kid. Under Mullen he will develope his passing game and then the sky is the limit.

I'd dare say 90% of this board can tell that Fitz hasn't played much as a QB based on watching him pass.
Hell of a runner though.
