How many times have you seen Superman tear a ligament and need rehab?

There's a story, probably apocryphal, about a time Muhammad Ali was on a plane and a stewardess told him he needed to fasten his seat belt. With his usual bravado, he replied, "Superman don't need no seatbelt." The stewardess glanced deliberately around, looked Ali right in the eye, and said, "Superman don't need no airplane either."

I like to think this story will be attached to Cam twenty years from now.

It's because of how he took care of himself and how hard he worked to begin with. Add in his determination and positive attitude, you got a kid running full speed.

Good news for the young man. I dig how hard he runs and wish him well.

They said the same about lattimore....even though it functions, it doesn't mean he should rush it. Only time gets it stronger.
His legs are very strong and able to offer needed support/stability, straight line only, no cuts.

Agree. One of our ABacks, Broderick Snoddy broke his leg in half against Clemson in 2014 in a freak accident. It was mid October. He was running track again in Spring and a full participant in Fall camp. Bones can actually grow back stronger.

He still had a mental issue but physically, we was running track again 6 months later.

Running in a straight line is fairly easy to get back to. It will be the change of direction that will be the largest issue.

Kenyon Drake just never quite got that burst back he once had. (I know their injuries were different). He played great after the leg healed but before the injury he had a burst like a rocket.

I hope Nick Chubb gets back to top form.

Straight ahead running is the easy part. It's the side to side cuts that are going to be hard on him.

Drake lost at least a half step and played scared/hesitant all season, until the last 3-4 games.

Considering his injury was 'Prothro-esque', who can blame him. When I saw him break his leg I thought he would never play another down of meaningful football.

Point is, if he never gets injured, he walks that ball into the end zone instead of dives and who knows what butterflies are stepped on.

Very Darkhorse. His injury will slow him down for a bit. My money would be on Fournette and Deshaun Watson.

How is this possible?

Chubb already running full speed again

That's great news. And hopefully that means he'll be fully ready to go by the start of next season. Eddie Jackson tore his ACL in April a couple of years ago and was running well by the time fall practices started up 4 months later. He played in 11 games that season; that he was able to play at all in that short a time span was amazing in itself...

Chubb should be in even better shape for next season as he's running well now and he's still got nearly 6 months till the Fall practices start up...

Yep, but when one is weak, you tend to iverstress the healthy one.
Who knows, but rushing him is dumb. He doesn't have a thing to prove in the early spring
