But this thread is about the qbs as NFL prospects. So if you want to have "decent" conversations about Mett not living up to his potential, why don't you make a thread about it instead of bringing it in a thread that it doesn't belong in.

I'm not reading 7 pages..but why is anyone surprised that Mett has more NFL potential than murray? Is that a shock to anyone? That doesn't mean mett is the better quarterback in college, which is all IGAF about.

I don't have "beef" with anyone. They were asked a question and answered it. Ask those execs if they would draft Mettenburger. See if you like those answers.

yea, willharsh. Mett's a bust because he was a 4 star in HS and didnt win the NC in his first year at LSU.

The thread was started to try to get a rise out of UGA fans, but that didn't really happen. UGA fans pretty universally agree that Mett has more pro potential. It turned into a meaningless argument between an Auburn fan and some LSU fans about Mett's college production.

Hes a bust because he got beat out by murray, then got arrested for sexual assault and had to transfer, and then he has under a 60 percent completion rating for his career, while winning absolutely nothing.

Honestly, Mett and Murray both have the most pro potential out of all the SEC qbs IMO.
Mett has a big arm and Murray is proven in the shotgun. Big QBs are good, but not required anymore in the new NFL.

So I love how UGA fans now believe Mett will be the better pro prospect than college prospect over Murray....hmmmmm, good logic there
