I can't believe a Bana website tried to trash an Auburn player.
I’m sure they’re eager to praise the guy that beat A1abana a month earlier while - criticizing a guy that played A1abana a decade ago.

That’s some big brain thinking Gaybern!

I'll be surprised if he amounts to much in the NFL. System QB just like the past few QB Heisman winners.

Is anyone other than LSU fans?

Even then all I hear is about his last 4 games where LSU played basically no good defenses.

He'll be lucky to hold a clipboard at the next level.

Oklahoma QB's. It was more system than it was great QB play.

Although I do think Burrow is better than both of them.

Let's see how he does when he doesn't have the benefit of the RPO and lineman down the field 3-5 yards.

Recent overall 1st pick QBs:

Kyler Murray - unlikely to workout
Baker Mayfield - not going to workout
Jameis Winston - LOL
Andrew Luck - flaked out
Jared Goff - Jury is out, definitely not a hall of famer
Cam Newton - good, but probably not a hall of famer
Sam Bradford - Sacking groceries somewhere
Matthew Stafford - Good QB
Jamarcus Russell - at a buffet somewhere in south Louisiana
Alex Smith - selling insurance somewhere in California

Kyler Murray actually showed plenty of promise this year. Odd you are able to determine he "probably won't work out" already. Luck (4x), Winston (1x), Goff (2x), Newton (3x), Stafford (1x), and Smith (3x) have all had pro-bowl seasons. Cam Newton and Luck have both been all-pros. Cam won the MVP. Bradford's career unfortunately ended early due to multiple injuries that plagued him throughout. I guess if you claim Burrow is injury prone that angle may have merit, but Bradford was plenty good when healthy. The only real bust on that list is Jamarcus, and I'd love to hear you compare him to Burrow with something other than they were both #1 overall picks or expected to be.

Good talk

Alex Smith was the biggest swing and a miss. Dude plays 13 years and makes 3 pro-bowls on two different teams and you say "he's selling insurance now." No shite, he retired after a really long NFL career. What is your baseline for being a franchise QB? Peyton Manning or Tom Brady?

Great players still stand out in most situations. No one even knew who he was outside of the sec and OSU before last year

Is this why Tom Brady was drafted in the sixth round?

You are one stupid mother fricker. Burrow torched Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, and A&M, what more would you want?

Burrow's stats from 2018 shows he's not doing anything unless everything lines up perfect for him. He didn't help his team anywhere near most of these QB yall keep comparing him to did their Jr or some even FR or So years.

half the posters on here say LSU's receivers aren't that good and have inflated numbers because of Burrow. The other half say Burrow's stats are inflated because of the talent around him. Which one is it? Do they all suck and just accidentally had the best season ever? Or does their value change based on what the thread is arguing? I'm thinking the latter

"An extra game to pad his stats"? Joe Burrow sat out a full 6 quarters, or a game and a half, due to blow outs. A biased AU fan's opinion's vs an expert's opinion. Pretty sure the scout has looked at all of Burrow's game films and knows what he's looking at. Same for all of ESPN's draft experts. Curious, how many of his games have you watched? Hyping defenses? Would you consider AU's defense one of the best in the SEC if not the country? FWIW: Joe Burrow put up over 500 yards against said defense.

Is RPO illegal in the NFL? What is Tua going to do if he can't run RPOs in the NFL?

Umm, yes the RPO is illegal in the NFL. You can't have lineman downfield, where as in college they allow 3 yards and many times they go further without being caught.

Did you not see where I mentioned the same concern regarding Tua?

these two things aren't mutually exclusive. You can run RPOs without having linemen downfield. RPO offenses have been around a long, long time.

You saying that Tua Turndaballova isn’t going to be the magic pineapple in the big leagues?
I thought Turndaballove was going to be the big tuna.
Guess the magic pineapple turned out to be the chicken of the sea.

All this crap is nothing more than opinion. The only two things that people can positively take away from all of this is:
1) LSU no longer has Joe Burrow QBing them.
2) Joe Burrows is probably getting ready to be QBing the worst team in the NFL, and will have to mentally and physically endure the consequences of that. He'll earn his paycheck.
Everything else is either bullshite or conjecture.
