I don't like calling him a bust. But should a different standard be used for him?

i dont think that standard should be used for anyone and if thats what you were trying to get at you couldve just said it

I would classify Bo more in the "What Might Have Been" category than "Bust".

Would you put Brian Bosworth in that category?

Bust he did not perform at the level expected and paid for even when he was playing... that was said by seattle fans themselves

People still remember how good Bo was. If you are drafted high and no one knows who you are within 5 years then you are a bust. First round players are not drafted to be bench warmers or gone in a couple of years without having any impact on their team. Having a career ending injury isn't the same as not being good.

Seattle fans loved him when he was health. They loved his trash talk and all the stunts. But when he got hurt and left they turned on him.

Wow. I didnt know Bo was a convicted NCAA cheat like his coach.

You were comparing the two. PP7's Rookie year was hands down better..

They loved him off the field not on it
putting up stats like these even in the games he did play healthy after being taken in the first round is failing to meet expectations

No. Boz was way more hype than reality. But, to be fair to Boz, his shoulders were already shot by the time he got to the NFL.

Bo averaged 5.4 yards per carry in the NFL. Eddie Lacy won rookie of the year averaging 4.1 yards per carry. If Bo was a bust in the NFL, it was only because of injuries and dedicating most of his time to baseball

He was good, not saying that. I am saying nike made him a household name. Women that never watch football knew him. He was Bo knows. The malls were covered in Bo knows posters, life size cardboard cuttouts, and commercials on every channel.

He didn't go in the first round. He went in the supplemental draft.
