Not gonna read the whole thread.
I'm assuming it has been full of UF trying to tell us they weren't that talented last year?

No way we can replace Eric stokes one said.

Not nearly as talented as we are currently.
Mac had an issue of filling classes with a ton of three stars with a few top players. Hurt depth and had lacking positions.
Mullen, while still not an elite recruiter, has at least added depth to each position and gotten far more blue chip players. If he develops the blue chips as well as he did the "randy specials", we should improve further.

ctually most of us were pretty spot on with our preseason predictions. We thought we had a chance at the East, and we did. We thought anywhere from 8 wins to 11 wins was possible. Overall most Gator fans said 9-3/10-2 type season with outside chance of better if the Oline was good.
Come on dude. Almost every one of you was telling us this was the year you would beat Georgia before the game. I can pull up the threads on your own board and link them if you would like. I'll be sure to include the one where Straws made his predictions.
He mad a Best Case, worst case and realistic prediction, and 2 of the 3 included wins over Georgia.

If Cager plays the entire year he crushes Pickens' numbers, it's not even a debate.
I think you are probably right. but are you under the impression that the player with the biggest numbers are always the best player?
If so then the Heisman committee has a lot of explaining to do over the years.

Cager and Pickens both had similar yards per game and per reception. Pickens scored tds at a higher rate.

The gap continues to close

Which Gators are suspended and named in these complaints?
Don't know and don't care. The point obviously went completely over your head.
Point is you were down to 52 scholarship players at the end of the '17 season and I'm assuming you had at least 20 to 25 more at the end of '18 with the Freshman coming in and getting back injured and suspended guys from '17.
It's virtually impossible to compete in the SEC being down 30+ scholarship players. So stop with acting like Mullen made some miraculous turn around when the circumstances weren't remotely the same.

The gap in talent hasn’t closed. UGA continues to our-recruit UF by a wide margin. UF’s classes may be a little better but they haven’t closed the gap and likely won’t until Gators have a better recruiting staff.
Mullen does well with the talent he has on offense so maybe Gators slightly closer to UGA there but it’s not enough and if Kirby opens up the offense, UGA will win again at WLOCP by a larger margin than last few years.

forget, how many scholarship players were left on the roster at the end of 2017? How many were suspended/ injured?

I answered with names then you say this. Are you high?

You only listed some of the names. The Florida roster was decimated in 2017.

What part of "how many" were suspended did
you not get?DGAS who and for which incident.
DJS answered the question below your.
Anyway,so you were down to 52/53 scholarship players at the end of '17.Do you really think that's remotely compatible to the roster Mullen had to work with in 2018? Of course not

Florida is my pick to win the East next year and a dark horse for the playoffs. I think LSU/Florida will be a huge game, but a rematch is also very possible in Atlanta.

Tell me how UF is better on defense in 2020 with loss of Greenard, Zuniga and Henderson.
This should be good.
This should be good.

They finished 11-2, in the top 10, won a NY6 bowl game, and both of their losses were to teams in the top 5. I mean, it’s not like I was far off.

You can’t say anything positive around here about Florida without getting the UG fans all upset. It’s weird.

True, and if you predict that every year, you will one day be correct
