Good selection here with some programs that have made recent noise.

Michigan is the logical choice but I'll go Auburn. They seem to catch lightning in a bottle once a decade before becoming a dumpster fire

Michigan
Tenn
Auburn
None of the rest will come close with how the conferences have come to be and the new playoff.

Michigans big issues right now is while they’re really good they’re still basically just a knock off UGA so :(

Michigan has the best chance owing to less hurdles to clear in the B1G. Or, I should say hurdle, with it being Ohio State.
Tennessee and Auburn have an equal shot. The odds are better for Tennessee's program as it stands right now, but one would be delusional to think Freeze won't have Auburn competitive again soon. Auburn's a traditional top 6 power in the SEC, and they aren't going anywhere even when they're down.
Except for maybe Penn State, none of the rest will win again. I don't think Michigan State can edge out their other B1G foes. Pitt's chances aren't zero, but low enough that you can discount them.

If Auburn can recruit 2 top 5 classes back to back, I think it is them.

Penn State and such have a higher chance of making the playoffs now but funnily enough likely a lower chance of ever winning it all. I hate the new playoffs.

I like the expansion because it helps Tennessee out. It's really difficult for us to get in the current 4-team bracket when we have juggernauts like Alabama and Georgia on our schedule every year.

I’m ready for the year the 12 team playoff is like 9 SEC Teams Ohio State Michigan and Clemson

I think if Auburn or Tennessee get into the playoffs, they would have the best chance. Both would've most likely played Bama and Georgia along with the rest of the SEC schedule. Definitely more battle tested than Michigan or Penn State would be.

RECENT noise???? The last time one of these programs won a national championship, the majority of posters here weren't born yet.

Auburn won in 2010.
So, most of the posters here were born in 2011? They are less than 12 years old?
That makes much more sense with the average responses to questions around here.
