Tidesports sucks arse, but Tidefans is ten times worse. Especially that bitter geriatric mod.

I never went to Tidefans but Tidesports USED to be okay before that last board update. I think there are like 17 posters there now

That is very true BAMAFNZ. The last update killed everyone's post counts and now it seems to just have become a constant bitch fest. It was refreshing to see fans of different teams getting along over here. Tide Sports just has the constant barner & gilmer name calling.

I joined Tidefans in 1998 when I went away to College. it used to be a great site, and JessN's articles are still quite good. I mean I've known the publisher since I was still in swaddling clothes, but it became way too much of a police state over there, and I've never been very good at toeing the party line.

I give props to the Admins here. Chicken runs a tight ship but does not sensor posters. As long as you are not flaming hard or posting porn he leaves you alone.

I've lurked for about 6 months. The SEC rant and the poli board are the only places I venture. Only board that I have found which welcomes all fan bases and where you can experience all sides of the SEC spectrum. My only complaint is that most of you rely to heavily on the dumbass Wal-mart rollback symbols to make your point. Other than that, ya'll seem pretty cool.

W&L told me a little over a year ago about Camgate. At that point I decided to register. I kept my mouth shut to protect the innocent though.

Yes Tidefans is a little bit too Hitleresque for me. I didnt post much there to begin with but even when I did if it wasnt a party line post it was deleted.
