Seems like LSU overrated, but maybe the SEC is just that strong.

I do think we are top 10 if Marceaux continues to come on, Cole Henry returns, and Hess can be our setup/closer.

Is Hess out of the rotation? Big series this weekend for both hosting chances.

Nobody knows right now, our weekend rotation has been a mess all season mostly due to injuries. Last weekend Hess was going to the pen, until they got word Henry was out and then Hess started Friday

IF I could make a "healthy" rotation it would probably be some combination of Henry, Walker, Marceaux & Hill. All 4 have had arm issues this year though at some point, Hill being out most of this season. Quite literally more pitchers than not this year have had arm issues, Hess included.

Henry missed 3/7 SEC starts.
Walker missed 1/7 SEC starts.
Marceaux missed 6/7 SEC starts.

Hess has basically missed 2/7 SEC starts.

One of our best pitchers from 2 years ago - Caleb Gilbert has basically been a lost cause this year and they wont pitch him because he's really just totally lost it.

Our only left handed pitcher, McMurray has missed the whole season.

Storz and Labas, 2 of our better/more talented pitchers have missed the entire season.

Doesn’t matter if he’s out or not. We can’t win in Baton Rouge.

Figured we would move up to top 5.

I think Ole Miss deserves to be in top 10. Definitely should be above LSU

The SEC hierarchy looks pretty spot on right now in the D1 rankings.

Baton Rouge is where Arkansas and Ole Miss baseball teams go to die.

LSU gets hyped up and manages to beat us no matter how shitty they are. I guess we are their SuperBowl.

Or, World Series...whatever.

If you look at the last 10 years of baseball, LSU, Arkansas, and State have all been premiere programs. Somehow though we have pretty much dominated both in the head to head matchups. I really don't get it because sometimes we will lose to shitty teams, but not Arkansas or State. Sometimes its just crazy stuff that happens too, especially against Arkansas.... Now if only that meant more championships

I was in the stands just to the right of that play, it happened right in front of me. Never felt so gut punched in all my life.

This will probably be a year when we have to claw our way into the CWS and then get hot and win the thing.
