The recordings are being released on an HBO documentary coming out 3/31. The Advocate got a preview and said it’s pretty bad.

Scott Rabalais of The Advocate says there isn't any new stuff on Wade in this documentary. Forde says there is. We will just have to wait to see what it shows on the 31st.

Since there’s an overwhelming and expected deflection from facts from the LSU fan base regarding Wade, how bout Piggy or someone establish a lifetime ban bet.

As if schools aren't already bidding on recruits. Wade is just one of the few that made a dumbass mistake by talking about it on the phone.

I would think that if the NCAA wanted to really look like they were making a statement, LSU and Auburn would be perfect targets. They don't want to hammer the bluebloods like Kansas for fear of cutting their own throats financially, and crippling Creighton or Prairie View won't move the needle. But LSU and Auburn are very recognizable names of big programs. Not perennial basketball powers, but a household name nonetheless. So that would be the best of both worlds for the NCAA; they look like they are doing something, while not hurting the bluebloods and thus their paycheck.

Agreed. They already showed they wont do it with North Carolina. That entire fiasco was absurd. And while Louisville had to vacate their natty, what other repurcussions did they actually have to endure? They self imposed a post season ban not so coincedentally in a season they knew they were losing everyone of consequence and were going to be bad anyway. Kansas, LSU, and Arizona are all guilty as hell. Auburn, basketball wise at least, is fine as far as I can see. What Chuck Person was doing was terrible as far as steering guys to bad agents to make money himself off them, and perhaps theres more, but from what Ive read nothing that actually applies to Auburn or cheating themselves. If anything that stuff should have been costing them players once the word got out guys were getting screwed.
