The NCAA has already investigated this and both Wade and Smart are still with the program.
Sounds to me like a slow time in the sports world and Forde needs to sell some clicks or mags or whatever Sports Illustrated is nowadays.

There should be an investigation. Realistically, we all know it happened, but there should be proof. Let the investigators check everything out thoroughly, interview all involved, check for money trails, interrogate Wade, basically leave no stone unturned, and if they can’t find anything then that’s that.
That’s the correct course of action that even LSU fans will agree is the right thing to do.

Why is this hard to understand? THEY ALREADY INVESTIGATED THIS AND FOUND NOTHING!!!!!
LSU investigated this....the NCAA investigated this.....all were cleared!
Unless there is NEW evidence, this is all much ado about nothing

Not quite... the NCAA is still working to finalize the results of the investigation. These tapes provide new direct evidence of Wade discussing payments for players that the NCAA wasn’t privy to previously. This new information should be thoroughly re-investigated prior to coming to their decision on Wade and LSU’s fate.
In the interest of sportsmanship and transparency every LSU fan should be all for a thorough and complete investigation that encompasses all the facts and evidence.

The exact transcript was available last year as I remember reading this same exact stuff. The only thing "new" is the format.

If the ncaa axes LSU and WW that means Kansas and Bill Self gotta go to.
Not going to happen.
All of this was exposed last season if the ncaa was going to do something they wiuld have then. Lsu's former athletic director is the only one to think that some form of punishment was acceptable for WW. That athletic Director is no longer affiliated with the university.

LSU just had the best season ever in the real sport.
Basketball is beyond corrupt and a boring sport. While you are at it kill the NBA, worst pro league out there. In college everybody cheats their balls out. See Kansas, UNC, AU.... just out of control.
