Tennessee is like the jagoff that comes into money and tries to go to the country club to fit in with new money.
New money - ALWAYS ACTS LIKE NEW MONEY.
LSU is old money with regard to their baseball prowess and has enjoyed being a prominent fixture and benchmark for the past 20 frickING YEARS!
They are not arguably, they ARE the best program in the country over that span.
Tennessee barely cracks the top 20 the past 20 years, and it's easy to name 19 better programs.

One of those teams was Florida who barely made the NCAAT but just got hot for a couple weeks. The SEC was not bad but most of the perennial power programs were in rebuild mode. That’s how a team like Kentucky was able to finish with a share of the SEC title
