mizzou and arky does make more sense, because we kinda really don't like each other as it is for multiple obvious reasons

So this would mean Missouri is definitely going to be in the eastern division

yea, Bama got their way. I'd much rather play Auburn than Mizzou every year anyway

Meh, I think it benefits arkansas, LSU and Florida, all for different reasons.

Missouri is going to wish that they had gotten Tx AM. I think that this will hurt Missouri's recruitment in Texas. They live on that recruitment.

At first glance it looks like it benefits LSU, but I'm not so sure.

Tennessee/Alabama
Georgia/Auburn
Kentucky/Mississippi State
Vanderbilt/Ole Miss
Florida/Texas A&M
South Carolina/LSU
Missouri/Arkansas

The whole reason the SEC kept 1 permanent opponent was to appease Alabama/Tennessee and Auburn/Georgia. Once you take those teams out of the mix, it's pretty easy to see how the SEC office paired up the rest.

Rank the SEC East and West based on current program status. (this year and last year).

Remember you have to leave out Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia because they are locked into their rivalry game. With that in mind, here you go...

SEC West
LSU
Arkansas
A&M
Miss St
Ole Miss

SEC East
USCe
Missouri
Florida
Kentucky
Vandy

All they did is go right down the line and match them up based on their current program strength.

But as long as the SEC office in Birmingham bows down to Alabama and forces all other 12 teams to have a permanent opponent instead of just having a perfectly sensible rotating schedule then I'm fine with it.

Maybe you should check the standings again. And while you are at it, look at last years as well.

I see LSU has found their whining to be a successful proposition.

I can't wait until we wipe the floor with your team. You are the worst poster on here and that is saying something.
