See that's why all the OSU fans were there 2 days early; vacation and had to be there since the flight is a while etc.

Bama fans could also come in masses tomorrow no?

from Mobile maybe but otherwise they're probably already checked into their hotels. 3 night minimum.

As we've been telling you guys all month, LSU won't have a huge advantage in number of fans. 60/40 at best.

when it was 95/5 Bama fans, you still lost FYI

Yes, it's a 9 hour drive from the farthest corner of AL. Much closer from the southern half of the state. I'm sure a lot of people are saving on hotel money after shelling out a couple of grand for tickets.

I'm not the one claiming my team is going to have a home field advantage in new orleans.

I'd be there early b/c my favorite part of being a fan is going to away/bowl games and talking shite and drinking with the opposing fanbase.

I hope it's a good game with a few offensive fireworks

They aren't that far from N.O. and they are a crazy fan base.

I'd assume it's still at least 60/40 LSU fans. OSU fans are nuts and I think it was like 65/35 or 70/30 LSU in 2007

This.

All most OSU talked about in the 2007 NCG was out numbering LSU in New Orleans. Make no mistake, that is LSU country.

Regardless if it's 60/40, LSU will still have what seems like a home field advantage. Say what you want, call me a homer or whatever, but there's something about that place that brings out the best in LSU fans and it will be rowdy. You may not believe it but ask OU, ND, and OSU fans.

Any LSU fan that considers this game a home game is sorely mistaken.

I agree. Other than being closer, the crowd split will be nothing like a home game for either. The Nov. 5 game was much more hostile for LSU than this game will be for Bama.

You are right. Too bad Bama has never played any big games in the place.
