Pre-season rankings still doing a lot of heavy lifting in the placements.

How does Bama drop behind Georgia?

It's a good question. Does not make sense. They both have a loss and Bama holds the head to head. If the season ended today, Bama is ahead of UGA in the SEC rankings. This would still be true if neither loses another game this season.

Doesn't matter though. If Bama fixes the issues we'll be right back in the top 4 by the end of the season.

Miami goes to the wire with VA Tech and barely beats a Cal team that gave Florida State its only win...

They needed a similar no-call targeting like Vandy got against Bama just so they could beat Cal. For some reason, the Miami one is news today.

Some of these ranked teams are just hanging around due to preseason polls. They are not good

Bama should at least be above Miami...

Say what you will about the SEC in Bham, but no team I recall has ever gotten the calls Miami has had the last 2 weeks to keep a conference leader undefeated.

That said, Cam is having a hell of a year.

Texas is in the cat bird seat. If you wanna piece of #1, you have to go through Texas.

Laughable at how much the “name” still matters.

This is why the ap poll is a fans poll … it doesn’t matter it’s just for the fans . How can you justify someone who almost lost two games and hasn’t played a ranked team being a head of someone who has played a ranked team and lost

Not to mention all the teams in the top 10 who have lost to two loss teams lol.

AP Poll:
1. Texas (52)

Just want to put something out there for the rest of the SEC, this Texas team is super young, most of the talented blue chippers are either true freshman, redshirt freshman or sophomores. 2025 and 2026 will be even better. Just wanna get everyone ready mentally.

I would put Vandy in the top 25 over at least 3-4 teams I see on there, but that's just me

Alabama shouldn’t have even sniffed the top 10 giving up FORTY to Vanderbilt.
