That’s interesting. What’s the logic for UTx over FSU I wonder.

To give Alabama a better SOS, including keeping Georgia at 6.

How did Tulane stay ranked after getting beat down by SMU? They only dropped 1 spot, in fact

Yeah, I don't think this says what LSU fans want it to say.

AP had no problem leap-frogging a 1-loss team over an undefeated. Interesting.

Damn LSU wouldn’t even make the 12 team playoff if they took the top 12 teams but that isn’t how it works. Liberty and SMU would be in over them too.

Because FSU clearly isn’t better without Travis but voters can’t bring themselves to completely drop them out of the top 4 because they’re afraid of the heat they’ll get for it.

Its the media. They don't use logic. They vote for who their readers like and don't like.

How does Louisville stay ranked?

A lot of garbage in there towards the bottom.

(Guess there’s no one else to take their place.)

So FSU can stay ahead of Bama.

To be clear, on a neutral field I think Liberty would’ve beaten Louisville last night.

They don’t typically drop teams playing on Championship weekend very much.

This isn't one person's ballot, but an aggregation of votes. Sure a lot of voters put both Texas and Alabama ahead of FSU and a lot kept FSU in front of both. This is just how it all averaged out.
