You think he's big enough to hold the edge in the NFL?
Did you watch last season?

He has to, either there or safety.

Yea, we gave up 90 yards on the first possession. Auburn still has a ways to go roster wise. We basically self imposed probation with Harsin. Jarqeuz Hunter is the only remaining player from his first full recruiting class.
Freeze needs to figure out how to score with Thorne at QB in the red zone and not rely on Ashford in the wildcat.
Us having to bring in Ashford bothered me.

Offense and defense were fine.
Anyone can cherry pick an issue here and there.
If one person feels that holding the edge against the run/scramble is a bigger deal, we don't need to be idiots and fight one another.
They are just opinions.
We had 17 points with 11 minutes left in the third quarter against an Ovary Conference team. Beck looked a lot sharper in the second half, but that second quarter was Dwan Mathis-level shitty. Have to be more consistent. The hot and cold routine won't work against Alabama in the SECCG and then in the playoffs.

Stopped reading here. That's just completely absurd and retarded. Our defense looked even faster than last season and our offense had no rhythm and looked like pure dog shite.
That's okay. Our defense gave up over 4 yards per play vs. an FCS team. When did that last happen? It wasn't the last two years. Clear shots of our D losing contain on the edge. But you do you, bruh. Have it like you want it.

We had 31 points and Beck had 300 yards with almost 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
Your point?
Anything can be cherry picked.

You are a moron.
Beck was 10 for 14 in the 2nd quarter for 111 yards (71.4% completion and 7.92 ypa). Those stats include a spike at the goalline and defensive holding.
Do you need to lookup Dwan Mathis?
Why do we have such shitty fans?
You can say he has room to improve (0 TDs, miscommunication on routes, got the ball out quickly but could have found better targets if he anticipated better and held the ball longer)

Have you been paying attention the last 2 seasons?
Jesus.

Does he have an injury or something?
Last year, his release looked good but like OP, I noticed he was really having to wind up to throw it deep. Those passes also seemed to hang in the air for awhile with not much zip to them.
I'm not aware of any injury; I'll have to go back and watch the release. I did notice some floaters but I think that was mostly due to drifting and throwing off the back foot.

I am still praying every Sunday morning for a Block button on this board. You are the biggest know-it-all in this entire place and you really need to start throwing the occasional "I think" or "in my opinion" or "imo" in your posts in order to become less 12 year old-ish and child like.

Some of those FCS schools are better than some of those FBS schools that were played.

I don't know Dwan Mathis' 2020 stats (game 1 against Arkansas).
Why don't you fetch them and compare them to Carson Beck's 2nd quarter since that was the example that you chose.
Beck 10 for 14 for 111 yards. O TD. O INT. Includes clocking the ball and a defensive pass interference play.

Your alter has been on this board a little over a week.
Only 2 other posters have cried like 12 year olds at me in the past.
What's more childish than creating fake accounts and then bitching when non-alters treat you the same without knowing who the hell you are?

Is Dwan Mathis going to buy you lunch?
What was his statline by the way?
You were the one who brought him up.
