So, honestly, this would be their very first NCAA sanctioned NC in OM sports history.
The same identical thing happened to Aggy in 2008. Men's Golf. Crazy to think about.

This would be the second national championship in the state of Mississippi.

I mean it is the only championship they have a legit claim. Selected by AP, NFF, UPI, FWAA. Officially recognized by NCAA.

Syracuse went undefeated and was selected by every organization as the winner and recognized as the national champion. If it wasn’t for Heisman winner, Billy Cannon, y’all would have two Nattys.

Yeah he was literally the reason why y’all didn’t win a championship that year. Either way it was an amazing season by Ole Miss and y’all got us in the end, but we took yalls natty away.
