Arkansas has proved they can play with anyone, and unfortunately they can lose to anyone.

But if they limp in as one of the last teams, one of the top seeds is going to get stuck with one hell of a bad draw for a first round game.

Everybody in the nation but LSU can pull upsets. If you kept up with college baskeltball you would know that. As I said before, other than Alabama and Auburn which I never criticized, the rest of the SEC is 1-1 against the top teams. Instead of just mouthing off, show up here and post again when the SEC folds like a cheap lawn chair in the NCAA tourney like usual.

I believe my job is to help you make it to the bathroom since you can't do it by yourself. Not to mention finding your arse since you couldn't do it with both of your hands and a flashlight. You are a moron! How's that for coherent sentences, you mindless PRICK!

I gave you facts but I will type slower to help you comprehend. Kentucky...has....last...7...of...the...last...13....games. They....lost...to Ohio State...Vandy...Arkansas...and...Texas...ALL... UNRANKED! Those are facts...You saying I didn't give facts was of course an outright lie

Seriously, this isn't that hard to understand. I PURPOSELY left out Auburn and Alabama because I see nothing to criticize there. My original post said overall the SEC should NOT have 9 teams in the top 25. Once again, the OTHER SEC teams get 0 credit for what Auburn and Alabama did. Kentucky losing 7 of the last 13 games, including to 4 unranked teams and being in the top 25 is a total joke!

So then you can’t come up with 8 teams that should be ranked ahead of Kentucky.

Got it.

What you need to tell us is who should be ranked that isn't.

This is a good post. Anyone who believes nine SEC teams should be in the T25 doesn't watch basketball outside the SEC.

I'm not going to spend the time going through dozens of teams that mighjt qualify. Pretty obvious a team that can't even play .500 ball over a long stretch of the season (last 13 games) isn't a top 25 team. Mid majors are pretty much underrated which is why some of them advance further even tournament and quickly bust the brackets.

Others receiving votes : New Mexico 117, Saint Mary's 63, UCLA 56, Creighton 27, Illinois 22, UConn 20, George Mason 15, Gonzaga 14, High Point 1.

I assume their posts are pretty much a surrender. When they start giving the entire SEC credit for what 2 teams do...Alabama and Auburn...that pretty much admits I was right. I NEVER criticized Alabama and Auburn but yet they keep bringing them up for their good victories. They completely ignore Kentucky going into the dumpster losing 7 of the last 13 including 4 to unranked teams. Geez, if losing games doesn't matter anymore then maybe Kentucky should be ranked.

And yet you started a thread claiming multiple SEC teams shouldn't be ranked without any kind of knowledge of the teams you think should be ranked instead of them. That's pretty stupid.

You can't even grasp the basic tenents of Strength of Schedule (SOS) or evaluating teams on a whole body of work (the season didn't start 13 games ago), so I'm not particularly surprised by this.

My opinion

AU can beat anyone if they put their mind to it
Alabama is a second weekend team
Florida is also a second weekend team

UK needs to get healthy or they won't get out of the first weekend
Tennessee isn't winning anything because Barnes is the coach
Missouri could get hot, or lose in the very first game

Nobody else is remotely worth mentioning

He can't. He's picking arbitrary points in the season, while ignoring a whole OOC slate, to create some imaginary measure in his head of who should and shouldn't be ranked.

OU was 13-0 in ooc play beat Mich, Arizona and Louisville and we have won 4 games in the sec… this pretty much fails the OP argument . The big 12 1-2 years ago was the hardest conference ever in college basketball … imo this years sec is the hardest ever .

I've got a minute so I'll do some work for him:

The two SEC teams he's mentioned and bitched about:

Kentucky
Quad 1: 8-8
Quad 2: 1-1
Quad 3: 3-0
Quad 4: 6-0

Ole Miss
Quad 1: 5-8
Quad 2: 5-0
Quad 3: 2-0
Quad 4: 7-0

The teams that received votes for the Top 25:

New Mexico

Quad 1: 3-2
Quad 2: 8-1
Quad 3: 1-2
Quad 4: 9-0

Saint Mary's

Quad 1: 0-1
Quad 2: 0-1
Quad 3: 0-3
Quad 4: 13-9

UCLA

Quad 1: 7-6
Quad 2: 4-1
Quad 3: 1-1
Quad 4: 7-0

Creighton

Quad 1: 5-5
Quad 2: 5-3
Quad 3: 3-0
Quad 4: 5-0

Illinois

Quad 1: 6-9
Quad 2: 5-2
Quad 3: 0-0
Quad 4: 6-0

UConn

Quad 1: 5-4
Quad 2: 4-3
Quad 3: 4-1
Quad 4: 5-0

George Mason

Quad 1: 0-3
Quad 2: 5-1
Quad 3: 7-1
Quad 4: 8-1

Gonzaga

Quad 1: 2-6
Quad 2: 4-2
Quad 3: 4-0
Quad 4: 11-0

High Point

Quad 1: 0-0
Quad 2: 1-1
Quad 3: 5-2
Quad 4: 17-2

I'm still waiting to see who it is that should be ranked over (as of right now) #17 Kentucky or #24 Ole Miss on that list. The info is all right here so he should be able to make an informed decision, right?

He wants to argue that we've had some losses in conference so we shouldn't even be ranked.

Only one of our losses isn't a Q1 loss.

Funny how you TRY to change the subject from Kentucky's dismal last 13 game record. That is MORE than pretty stupid! You apparently don't think wins and losses even matter. Hey, "they're Kentucky" right. You sound like Alabama fans in football. You are in denial that Kentucky isn't the old Kentucky. Be prepared for another early exit from the tourney.
