SEC with four of the elite eight. Guess the conference was not overrated after all.

Houston and AU by a lot, feels like MSU will get some calls to prevail in a close one over Ole Miss, and toss up on KY/UT…I’d lean UT is playing better offensively than they have all year but it’s hard to trust Barnes in this spot

Not bad if UH can find a way to extend this one or Purdue starts fouling. AU was closer than I expected but they are capable of going on 20-5 runs against teams that can’t score.

Bruce in the postgame with Tracy Wolfson fires up an SEC SEC SEC chant.

Whether people like him or not, Bruce Pearl has been an advocate of all things SEC since the day he stepped foot in Knoxville. He knew what this league could be, and he went to work. He took detour, but found his way back only to go to work building a program at Auburn and making it respectable on the court. He didn't want Auburn to be a drag on the conference, and he's delivered on that.

The guy loves the SEC, and I think he will be looked back on as one of the major contributors to the resurgence of SEC basketball, and a big building block in where the league is on this night.

ETA: War Eagle!

Purdue getting hosed by these refs.
Three absolutely awful calls against them in the last minutes of the game

Not going to call anything late, you have to muscle through it.

Don't like the Big 10 anyway, Tenn. would have smashed Purdue, so that hurts them, Houston is a tough out

No way I was pulling for Purdon't. Why were they put in this region as a 4 seed with home court advantage? And they still couldn't pull off the win. And F the B1G!

UT-Houston figures to be a defensive war. Game could end in the 50s.

Call it even for making a 1 seed play a damn road game.

It was an offensive foul, but one that will rarely ever be called in that situation.
