He was given full authority to make the decision of where he would attend.

Cam says to dad:
I'm too big of a pussy to make this kind of decision on my own.
Dad says go Cam:
Ok son, I'll go see where you will best off at and then I'llmake a decision.
Dad says to MSU:
Pay me or my son will go elsewhere.
MSU says to dad:
Go rot in a shite can.
Dad says to Cam:
It's Auburn.
Sounds like a typical day in the life of a sports agent to me.

how do you prevent someone from taking advantage of "solicit=ineligible" and use is maliciously to get back at a player? Schools (using friends of the program) could use this to prevent a player that they were not going to get from playing at a rival school. The kid may not even wanted to play for a school but the school could say "player had a representative to solicit money from us, but we reject him". Or are we to believes schools wouldn't lie?

Move on in a second, can you show me a link or quote where Kenny Rogers says he did not direct Cam to Blinn, or aid in getting Cam into Blinn?

I read an article on a paysite during the basketball tourney that could change quite a few opinions here. One big thing is about how many players on many campuses ride scooters. LSU's included. Though Cam's scooter took it to a new level. Even with scholarships parents have to pay a good bit of the athletes finances for him to attend. This guys son was a college basketball star, and he was still paying alot for his sons tuition out of his own pocket. I still question all the scooters, but that's something we would never be able to figure out L.

No but it would have been damn funny if they had.

Let's say one of these 7 on 7 or scouting service gurus asks AU for money for the next great 5* athlete without that athlete's knowledge. AU says no. The athlete is overwhelmed by the recruiting process and trusts the guru to help him make the right decision. That guru then steers the 5* athlete to Bama, without receiving any illegal benefit. Should the kid no longer be able to play college football?
ETA: We all know AU would have paid when asked, but let's ignore that for the sake of this hypothetical.
