What shady alumni, you have been saying no money changed hands?

If we had shady alumni, and did something wrong, the NCAA will nail us, and we desever it.

horseshite, we are talking about NCAA rules. There should never be a rule that puts one University at a disadvantage over another. I don't expect you to take your Auburn colored glasses off to see that though.

NCAA speaks about: "Cam Did not Know"

Honestly I hope the case is over but the NCAA knows they have a problem with interpolation of their rules. There's a strong public undercurrent which is why Emmert felt compelled to make another public statement regarding the ruling. They know that other parents will now be soliciting the services of their student athletes in secrecy. If they get no bites aka no money is exchanged then there's no violation. If they get the money, and it comes to light then they just have to wait until the kid can go pro anyway. If they get away with it, then it's extra early money in the bank.

Less chit chat about Cam and more dancing cat

Ftr I still find it hard to believe that he asked MSU, but didn't ask AU. Human nature is against you on this. Plus there are still plenty of black clouds looming over the Reed, Whitehead, Dyer, Lemonier, and Robinson recruitments. <------ should attract the roaches so we get more dancing cats!

It is getting deep in here, do you really want to get into Shady Alumni, you have one on your board.

At least Rodgers hasn't been involved with the program since he graduated. He hasn't given to the Bulldog Club or held season tickets.

(Yes I know, as a former player, he is still considered a booster in the NCAA eyes)

Sounds eerily familiar to the way things worked pre-Cam.

It doesn't matter what the NCAA says ya'll cheated and everyone knows. The NCAA isn't reliable anymore and just wanted to make money.

I am sorry but I dont see your logic in your argument.

So you are saying it is an unfair advantage to do something that is against the NCAA rules.

Is this kind of like its unfair because my neighbor sells dope and doesnt pay taxes and I work and do. He has an unfair advantage on me.

Maybe he wouldn't because he knew that he would get busted by MSU if he did.

You are new, so there is no way for you to know this, but everyone you are arguing with has trudged through these same arguments countless times and we are just bs-ing for the most part and yanking your chain right now. Don't take it to seriously.

You guys don't realize this, but you're trying to sink an aircraft carrier with darts.

There is so much money in FBS football, especially the last 20 years, that the idea of amateurism is shot to hell.

It doesn't mean that these players aren't in the wrong for knowingly breaking rules, but sadly football will never be truly amateur ever again.

If you want it to be, stop giving football scholarships and hold tryouts for the regular student body.

It says a lot about kids and schools who go through recruitment right, but in a purely cynical way of looking at it, it just means they're getting ripped off.
