Someone studied the gal leading in home runs (from UCLA) and said at least 10 HRs would have been outs at OU field. And likewise, 9 of Wells outs would have been HRs at UCLA field.

That's great to know. I've been wondering. Thanks!

And thank goodness for softball stat nerds who will go to any length to find that kinda stuff out.

Yeah, and it's not like Faircloth is some scrub pitcher either.

Yeah, she's no scrub. State's pitching is not to be taken lightly. The OU hitters can be silenced and have been several times this season.

Patty could feel a big inning coming on. Guachino's body language wasn't good. Good move.

Home run data. OU field is 200 at corner poles and 225 in center. UCLA is 190 at poles and 210 in center.

With zero chance of expansion from all I've read. The outfield wall is at the absolute edge of campus.

State is really battling. Kudos to them for hanging around ,but they still don't look aggressive at the plate.

OU pitching has been a roller coaster this year.

UT left the bases loaded in the top of the first. UGA has runners on first and third with two outs.

Edit: UGA left both runners.

Barker's error at 3rd really hurt. If you're not going to hit, at least field your position.

State not good enough to win this, but they have a good club that is way better than their 9-15 SEC record.
