Why can't you admit your vaunted dark lord is being exposed as a gigantic pussy?

the HUNH is a gimmick. it's like the "quick pitch" in baseball. it's bush league and it's chicken shite. i hope they do eliminate it. line up and play football beatch. quit being a pussy.

The "pussies" are the ones that can't keep up.

To me it's not about safety. That's a bullshite argument. It's really about what we want football to become. I think it's a chicken shite way for teams with less talent to try and keep up by snapping the ball before the defense is ready and/or confused.

It's like a pitcher running up to the mound in baseball and throwing two strikes across the plate before the batter gets up to the box

I think the ten second rule is to allow them to sub.

No matter how short the game is, even if it was cut to 30 minutes, if tired players are on the field then you still have a greater chance of getting injured and/or getting a heat stroke.

So you see how silly of an argument this is then? Well, of course you don't, but oh well.

So you are saying this rule will be used to put teams at a disadvantage with respect to other teams in the name of "safety"? Yep, that sounds like a legitimate rule

Having one foot on the field before the O snaps the ball is not time.

What a mental clusterfrick this new rule will be. Can't snap it until clock winds down to 29 seconds but must snap before 0 seconds left.

This is the stupidest fricking rule ever proposed, and I don't even like the HUNH.

Is there going to be another play clock counting up from 1 to 10, another ref just watching the play clock to make sure there is 29 seconds left?

The game changes and adapts whether we like it or not. Otherwise everyone would still be running the veer.

The defense can only sub if the offense subs

That is not how it run today. Refs stand over the ball until the D subs. That is how the game is currently.

Only if the O subs. I get it. Any team that runs a HUNH gets an advantage.

You are fighting to keep the advantage...

The defense can sub every play if they want to, they just might not get out there in time.

Tell the defense to stop blitzing is basically what they are telling the offense. fricking stupid suggestion by Saban.

You must hate it when a center snaps the ball when a defensive lineman jumps offsides.

I mean talk about some BS. Offense gets 5 free yards & a free play by snapping the ball before the defender is ready and/or confused.

I hope they don't change a damn thing. I want Saban to kick Gus's arse running whatever the hell offense he wants to run. If he can't then so be it. Get back to work and try again.

I agree. But by his actions Saban is admitting that the game is passing him bye. I expect the rule to be changed.
