A player battling epilepsy will not be able to play as a walk-on safety at Auburn because he uses a prescription for cannabis oil to combat his illness, according to WXGA-TV.
C.J. Harris was diagnosed with epilepsy as a sophomore in high school, and after his 14th seizure he was prescribed cannabis oil by his doctor, which has allowed him to live a seizure-free life since January 20, 2017.
The safety was offered a preferred walk-on spot at Auburn, according to WXGA-TV, but the NCAA will not allow him to play at the school because of the prescription for cannabis oil.

The NCAA can go to hell, how is there not an exception for this kind of thing? Garbage if you ask me.

Is cannabis oil a performance enhancing drug? No? Then WTF?

Nice link.
So he's ineligible just because of a prescription...not because of actual usage? What if he gets a prescription for an approved medication and uses that instead?
I'm not buying the story exactly as quoted.

Total B.S., especially since it’s prescribed.

Most people use cbd oil for this, which is negligible amounts of thc. Should easily clear the ppm thresholds.

Doesn't make sense.
You can be prescribe an opiate and still play.

You dumb gump, he has a prescription for “oil” . He has the prescription for “oil” because it’s healthier than smoking and because he’s an athlete that’s not suppose to be smoking . Why and how would he get a prescription for smoking if the oil is working ?
He’s ineligible simply because marijuana is a banned substance and the oil is made from it and contains THC .

Just as I thought...here's the part you conveniently omitted:
"Harris is exploring junior colleges and NAIA schools to play football, and is also exploring alternative medicines so he could play football and pass a drug test, according to the report."

He wants to play for Auburn and he shouldn't have to risk taking other prescriptions when he already has one that works for him.

Omg you can’t comprehend either . It’s saying now because he can’t use the cannabis oil he’s searching for something to help his seizures and not show up as a banned substance .

True, but the fact remains that he can play at Auburn if he uses a different medication. The headline made it out like that wasn't the case.
