Not a big 12 fan. Would kill to have Arkansas, mizzou, A&M, OU, and Texas back on the schedule again.

Pokes win their 12th natty! Amazing competition especially from the SEC. Shout out to all the kids, especially Ole Miss,Florida, Auburn, OU, and Texas.

Thanks for updating the form despite being Non-SEC.

As always this is the best board in all of sports. SEC fans are awesome to be following the NCAA golf championship without a dog in the fight. Loved following the thread this week. Good luck in baseball regionals this weekend.

Good job Pokes! I am a little jelly of all your golf championships. Y’all have a hell of a program!

Congrats!

It is a bit ironic that the the top golf school historically is an Ag college in the middle of Oklahoma.

You'd think that some elitist rich kid's school or at least a school where the weather is good year round.

OSU has been able to stay at the top for six decades in a sport that is pretty fickle.

Very true. I am sure the coaches have gotten some funny looks when they are on recruiting visits over the years, but now their reputation precedes them. Esp for anyone in the know.

The amount of success we have in athletics whilst sharing a small state with OU speaks to itself. With half the pay. Looking at you Mizzou and A&M

I'd replace MIZ-ERO with the Pokes all day and twice on Sunday if it were up to me..

Congrats on the NC!

I lived in central Oklahoma for 3 years and played golf 3x a week.

I played at Pete Dye's Oak Tree course once a month. In the 1988 PGA Championship there, Jack Nicholas made an 11 on a par 5, and Fuzzy Zoeller a 7 on a par three.

If you can play in winds that constantly blow 20-25 MPH, you can pretty much play anywhere.

My favorite football road trip to this day was Stillwater 1998.

Oklahoma was hosting Cal and we were playing in Stillwater. We went to OKC Friday to see the newly opened memorial and better nightlife. Ended up in the same hotel as the Cal cheerleaders and a bunch of their fans and had a great time.

Learned that everybody in Berkeley wasn't liberal trash. Went on to Stillwater for a night game and got beat, but like Clemson, OSU is an SEC school stuck in another conference. Pokes would be a great add to the SEC.
