Alabama has a 3 stroke lead and Auburn has fallen to 16th. They made a double and a quadruple bogey recently.

This is just qualifying right now, once the top 8 move on 8 will play 1 etc in a tourney style playoff.

Auburn is now 11 over on the day, 15 over for the tourney. On a bright note, Dufner can head back to Auburn and rest up for the U.S. Open in a couple weeks.

dude college golfers miss so much dang school. its crazy. they usually play their tournaments during the week. there is a fall and a spring season so they are always gone. plus, most schools drive to their destination, thus there are more days off for travel. bama usually goes to puerto rico every year around february. college golfers have a sweet deal. they usually get top notch cleet chasers too; quality over quanity though.

I don't want to speak for females but I would imagine a stud can't miss golfer is a prize among at least somewhat materialistic women. The modern golfer is usually in very healthy and in good physical shape, not a threat to be seriously injured, and can make a lucrative living "working" at some very nice golf course venue/resorts. You get to 1) travel to nice places 2) live at least an upper middle class lifestyle 3) and you husband is away enough to provide you with some away time. I'd imagine that's why you see a lot of "cleet chasers" around promising young golfers these days.

Update:

Yikes!! Bama's top 2 scores for the day just made a double bogey and a bogey for the team to go +5 for the day and +6 for the tourney. Alabama is tied for 4th now with 3 other teams. UCLA has the inside track as they are even for the day and +4 for the tourney. The good news for UCLA and Bama is that they are almost done for the day while every other team currently in the Top 8 hasn't even teed off yet so those teams will undoubtedly have to count a lot of bogeys before the day is done.

i used to know all the guys on bama's golf team a few years ago, so I feel comfortable assessing their pull with the ladies. of the guys i used to hang out with, one is now on the pga tour and two or three others are on the nationwide. they certainly dont get a lot of pull with the typical bar strip crowd of sorostitutes who are trying desperately to get fricked by a third string TE. but they do really well with the bitches who know whats up and have a little bit of foresight. those high class hoes whose parents have introduced them to golf understand the payoff.

scoring update:

Bama tied for 1 at +4 on 17-18. Florida tied at +4 on 1-2. UCLA dropped to +7 on 17-18. Auburn is +14 on the day.

highly doubtful. espnu would be your only chance. golf channel might be a better bet but dont get your hopes up.

UPDATE: Bama is finished for the day, tied for first at +4 for the tourney, +3 today.

6:45 p.m.: The Alabama lead is now four strokes over Oklahoma. Live scoring is still found here.

6:22 p.m.: UCF is pulling an Auburn now. The former leaders now sit eight shots off Alabama’s lead. Oklahoma is second, three strokes behind the Tide.

6:04 p.m: Alabama’s lead is growing as they sit back and watch. The hot start for UCF is now turning extra sour. The Tide lead is now three strokes with the Golden Knights now 7-over par.

So, they cut to 8 teams tomorrow. Then a champ is decided by Sunday?
