I hate Tennessee but I wish they’d flip the bird to the NCAA, they suck. They put our baseball team on probation and made stipulations with recruiting because our sorry arse head coach went out on his own and tried to place bets on the team.

This is one thing I've never understood, why the team gets punished when individuals commit the infractions.

Reform and greater authoritative empowerment by somebody (NCAA or not) is the only way to save college athletics from its current direction.
Booster support is the lifeblood of an Athletic Conference, along with strong branding, conference affiliation, and TV monies.
The collectives that focus primarily on booster support and fail to achieve alternative revenue streams will ultimately hurt most schools in the long run as they struggle to balance donated funds for facility and fan experience improvements with uncontrolled/competitive player payments.
It's free-for-all now.
It won't be sustainable without some body of control.
