So based on that Thayer Evans must be telling the truth...AU is fricked.
One thing's for damn sure, Evan's has a dull arse ax to grind with y'all for some reason. The dude is like a bloodhound where AU is concerned.

Thayer and Brooks have found that this story creates clicks on their websites and thus money in their pocket. They will continue to "report" on it every chance they get until that changes.
It is no real mystery. Anyone that doesn't question the reliability of Thayer Evans and SBB just wants what they say to be true and doesn't care about being objective. At the same time, anyone that thinks it is impossible for Thayer and SBB to be right on this, is deluding himself/herself.
Theyer has proven to have low journalistic standards as far as confirming his sources (doesn't mean the sources are wrong, just that his credibility is not as airtight as other more respected journalists) and SBB is a blogger and not a journalist, so he just provides his biased commentary on potentially controversial stories.

WTF? Thought Slive's statement last week and Emmert's statements this week pretty much meant there is NO INVESTIGATION of AU going on....
Is there an NCAA investigation of Auburn University, their coaching staff, their current/future/former players or not? YES or NO
Never said it was over or ongoing. Some assumed either side. They did say with their further effort after the rulling that no new evidence has been uncovered and that the rulling made was still correct.
With the NCAA, in reality, it is never over, even if they rule. The is no double jepoardy rule. If new evidence comes about they will make a new decision in all matters.
Its funny the boards blew up with this. All that has really been said is that the asked some questions. FWIW Time will tell.

How many times has Alabama been on probation since Auburn was last on probation?
What the hell has that got to do with the price of tea in China today?
The NCAA staff ain't in cajun country questioning Bama/Ark/LSU/UGA/FLA's recruiting tactics or "street agents" that proclaim to be LSU fans steering recruits to the plains.

Gotta be at least a little discerning that the NCAA is just "asking some questions" about other recruits though... This is completely going in a different direction than anything Newton.

IMO, the NCAA is going to come down on Auburn at some point, it's inevitable. When and where are the only questions.

Why not be? None of us can do anything to affect the outcome. Life is far too short to be wound up tight about some shite like this.

Agreed. AU has too many fingers pointing at them. The NCAA will keep digging until they have enough evidence to BOOM them and quiet the yelling. It's just a matter of time now.

Well. That's what it took to land Greg, might as well drop another 200k to make sure this problem doesn't happen again. Ya know
