jokes aside , I dont think there is anything the NCAA could do to Burrow, his college eligibility and therefore status as a collegiate athlete forbidden from profiting off said status had ended with the game. It's probably a bit different for a junior who is planning to go to the draft but technically has eligibility left and hasnt made any declarations, but even then. what can they do? kick them off scholarship of the school they arent planning to attend anymore?

Might want take a breath and tighten your chin strap so you don’t bump your head and cause and additional damage to your ability to discern a half-arse troll job. Good luck Corky.
Rant;
This is when you know that the 17 year old youre trying to calmly talk to, starts projecting (google this word).
After she’s done banging on her keyboard, realize that this offseason is going to be fun for all.

INDIANAPOLIS—Laying down a harsh ruling that is sure to resonate in future cases, the NCAA determined Friday that Joe Burrow joining the Cincinnati Bengals will be more than enough punishment for his infraction of accepting a cash payment from Odell Beckham Jr. “We want to do everything we can to discourage college players from trying to monetize their position, and we have determined that whatever punishment we could come up with will pale in comparison to being drafted by the Bengals,” said N.C.A.A. president Mark Emmert, who warned that the LSU quarterback’s fate might become the new standard for punishing player corruption

Because I said “wait for it” in a thread about an Onion article?

Nah, that’s just part of it. It’s been a gradual thing.
Introspection is something you should explore.

Pretty sure you do. But projections is your thing.
Give us more, please.

Whatever Nancy, stay away from those Onion articles. I’d hate to read about you shooting up a church.

Burrow better follow in Eli Manning’s footsteps and go where he actually has a chance to win.

Not going to the Bengals is not turning his back on Ohio. He can give back if he goes somewhere he can win, get a big contract, and have staying power. The Bengals will destroy him in 3 years. Then what happens? He gets a pat in the back for being the hometown boy and becomes a spokesman for a car dealership. What a life.

I am a Steelers fan as well as an LSU fan. But I cannot see him turning his back on all of the fans from Ohio that have supported him. He is an honorable kid. He will go with the Bengals even though it turns my stomach to think how that franchise is going to destroy him.

I would hope he would be able to give them an explanation as to why he wouldn’t go-as if it would be needed. Anybody but the most hardened homers would understand. He could set up a charitable organization and give back that way-which I’m sure he’ll do anyway.
