Dichiara was running the infield hit out in game 1 or 2 , forgot which. The infielder bobbled the ball and dropped it or something like that and he still wasn’t in the tv shot when the 1st baseman caught the ball.
I understand being a big dude and when you’re really good you probably think, why change anything? I just think it’s a sign of laziness or something and he would be a big time prospect if he was in shape.
Just like the assistant coaches at LSU and our left handed reliever that came from Arizona. It just blows my mind that athletes and coaches could be so out of shape when they are constantly active .
He’s a hell of a player though

Baseball is a relatively sedentary sport compared to most other ones
You can get away with it
You can get away with it

Being heavy and being out of shape are not always the same thing.

Agree with all that but he could be a lifetime DH now that both leagues have the position

Yup. Dichiara's dad is a landscaper. Works harder than the LSU fan who made that post, and does it in Alabama heat. He's built big too

Like John Daly or Babe Ruth, Sonny knows how to put his weight behind his swing.
Don't fix something that is not broke.

If you have a 1.300 OPS yeah. Most guys can't do that though.
