Really weird seeding all around. And A&M given a 3 seed yet two other ranked teams are in the regional

A&M plays those teams every year. OOC or in the post-season. If they cannot win their regional, the year is a failure

I told you Texas isn’t a two. Texas has really fallen out of the favor of the NCAA to have to go to CS as a three seed. You know they didn’t want that

Texas lacks a true #1 pitcher. They also have some really bad Q4 losses.
Beating A&M at College Station is a tall fricking mountain.. but I don’t see anything about Louisiana that is all that impressive (on paper).
I really like that we are the 3 seed.
We will be home team in Game 2 vs A&M or Grambling. It’s a small advantage, but we need all we can get.

LSU should have been at one of the lower regionals like Tucson or the like. UNC cannot be happy to see them in their regional.

I like the confidence that you expect my UCSB Gauchos to advance to the supers. I'm anxious because (A) it's baseball, and (B) it's not often you put a 25-0 record at home on the line in the NCAA Tournament. We can't afford an 0-2 record after going through so many hoops so we could host in the first place.
We've got to take care of business, too. ULL is no slouch, and a rival like Texas is likely to play their best (as our softball team did at their super regional this week).

UF getting in is laughable. The only reasoning the CC committee member could give is sos which is bs. The message has been sent. Make your schedule tough and it doesn’t matter how much you lose, you are protected
