This is the best draw a 3 seed from the ACC could ever want.

Alabama got hosed big time. 16 seed. Just beat 13 seed Auburn 4 days ago and they went 3-1 against them. Had an RPI 8 spots higher. Had a better record. Alabama 40-19, Auburn 34-21-1. All the projections had Alabama 11 or 12 seed in final pros.
BC is like Notre Dame last year. Both Northeast schools that should have hosted. USM, Samford is a easier draw than BC, Troy. Plus you are paired with nation's best Wake Forest.

Which I don't mind. It's good to hear the talking heads be critical and ask some legit questions of the process, even though we don't get super in depth answers.

Sure but “let Boston College host because the northeast doesn’t ever get to host” is wanting to show a bias based on region. They bitch about the system being broken while crying about a region getting left out.
