Doug is a great pitcher don’t get me wrong. He held us to one hit, but what makes him so hard to hit? Stellar location on the fast ball and a powerful curve?

multiple different pitches he can throw for strikes. It expands the strike zone and keeps hitters off balance. hides his release well

Yeah he does seem to mix his pitches well. I enjoy watching him when he’s not playing us. He has some genuine charisma

Underrated factor with Dunhurst behind the plate is he is a very good game/stress manager… very animated with who’s pitching and getting them dialed in… love watching him play
