How?

You took a shot at Arkansas with that latest post. Your whole point before was it had nothing to do with an Arkansas fan being the person you were replying to about Kopps.

I’m confused do you people think I was hating on Kopps? Where did the reading comprehension go on this board?

How did you just posts those two sentences together and not see your error? Please point to me ever saying you are hating on Kopps.

No I took a shot at Arkansas fans for being mad about nothing

It seemed like some Arkansas fans thought I intentionally threw Kopps name in there to say something bad about him, which is not what I was doing. I thought you were agreeing with them

Ok, what did you mean by the "Jeez, leave it to Arkansas to be offended by someone calling their pitcher the best in the country" ? The "leave it to" implies there is some type of past with Arkansas that makes it common.

Nope, reading comprehension

Well now you are kind of hurting your previous point

My previous point was that every pitcher was beatable. Reading comprehension wasn’t the problem you just thought something was my point that wasn’t.

Exactly what I said. I was taking a shot at the fan base. The inability to take a compliment because it’s not “good enough”. I said he was the best pitcher in college baseball, but because I also said he was beatable I was “jealous”. To be fair, a lot of fan bases do this, mine included.

No, not that point. The point that the Arkansas fan wasn't the reason you brought up Kopps. Your shot at Arkansas made it look like you indeed did have an issue with them. Maybe it was just this instance and were annoyed at them but it didn't help your previous point.

I could totally understand that and agree if it wasn't the "leave it to" like it happens only to them or it is common to only them. That puts an implication with it.

This wasn’t supposed to be a point but I understand how it became one. Regardless it’s not a reading comprehension issue to not know what point you’re talking about when all you say is that it hurt my “previous point”

I typed the leave it to without thinking about it to be entirely honest. I have nothing against Arkansas fans in particular. Drewbie definitely annoyed me in this argument, but generally I have no problem with him.

I mean I'll admit to intentionally stirring the drink. I don't even disagree with your point and that's why I didn't argue it, but the Kopps mention did come across as petty and that's why I hopped in. I don't think you were calling Kopps bad or even trying to make a demeaning point about him. It was simply the way you inserted him into a conversation that wasn't about him that cracked me up so I decided to have some fun with it.

Man I really fricked this thread up.

Good win for Rocker. Wish ECU had made it a little tougher.

The rest of Vandys team just isn’t that impressive to me but they will be tough to beat with these 2 starters.

Very complimentary indeed.

It’s not a negative for a pitcher to be beatable. The compliment was that he was the guy I thought of as the closest to unbeatable in college.

Like I said, any baseball fan will tell you anyone is beatable. Baseball is just far too volatile for them not to be. There is nothing negative at all about saying Kopps is beatable.

I even talked in the Kopps golden spikes thread about how impressive he is. And in one of the super regional threads I went as far as to say if Arkansas was struggling with NC State, they could just put Kopps in and be fine.

I am very pro Kopps

I wasn’t trying to knock Rocker. I’m always bad about hyperbole.

I just said his command of the zone is noticeably not that impressive the last few times I’ve watched him and if hitters are disciplined and not falsely intimidated, he can be had and his pitch count gets high.

Leiter, Nihkazy and Kopps just own the damn thing and barely miss from what I’ve seen.

Stanford is having their way with Tech in the West Texas heat. That game just looks plain miserable

We Vandy fans have known this for weeks. Flashes but no level of consistency.
