Nobody squealed and cried "the sport is ruined " when coaches went pro and came back.
Bill Belichick coached pro for 48 years.
That is 30 years pro before today's freshman class were even born.
They allowed the schools to pay coaches ever increasing Millions a year, ridiculously ludicrous bonuses, and pay coaches tens of millions to get fired.
All the while, players banned for a meal, a plane ticket, a little bill money for Mom. The players couldn't even work for McFreakinDonalds.
They even allowed schools to pay multiple Tens of Millions to fired coaches.
There are schools paying up to 3 fired head coaches millions a year at the same time to not coach for them.
The $77,000,000 payout for Jimbo does far more to hurt college athletes opportunity than the current problem.
In the last decade schools have payed an estimated $909,000,000 to formor football coaches WHO NO LONGER WORK FOR THEM. Many of those coaches will never work again.
$909,000,000 for fired coaches!!
And these are the hypocrites running all over the media, internet, crying about " opportunities for younger players "
