Dude, it hasn’t been approved by the FDA. It’s not like any vaccine ever created. We shouldn’t be forcing people to take it, period. Politics be damned, it’s just wrong.

The idea that a coach or teammates couldn't make a decision to protect their season seems crazy.

I haven't seen the actual protocol. Was there anything that triggered the testing of the vaccinated players in the protocol?

Wrong. It hasn’t gotten final, general approval but it’s been determined to be sufficiently safe and effective for administration to the population group that includes college athletes.

So this is not a possible exposure by Vandy from NCS> There is handling of the baseball, up close players on base, and whoever else they came in contact with. So why not test so Texas can have the chance to become NC's by forfeit?

That's why I asked, was there anything in the protocol that said an outbreak, etc...caused testing or was it a non-protocol decision?

I've heard all the positives were vaccinated, and also 4 out 6 were vaccinated.
Either way, they tested vaccinated players for NCST, but not Vandy.

The 1st two positives were unvaccinated. They tested the rest of the unvaccinated and they came back negative. Then tested the entire team and the others came back positive...what was the protocol? Did they change their rules mid tournament or was there some trigger because of the positives on the team?
Obviously if they changed their own rules mid stream that is insane, but even for the NCAA it's hard to believe they'd handle it like that. I would love to know if the other tests were triggered by the positives.

Also, ridiculous to force them to forfeit now if you let them play yesterday. This is such crap. Let those who test negative play. Better yet, stop testing. The fans aren't tested.

Why would those NC State kids that were vaccinated test? There had to be some provision that required them to test even though the "Known" protocol said they didn't have to if vaccinated.
