Cam Newton, wait…I meant Brent Shaeffer.

OGs will get the reference.

You are not a serious person. He was a terribly inaccurate deep ball passer. It was as horrifying as watching Shaq shoot free throws. The ball was going to hit something hard, but it sure as frick wasn't likely to be his intended target.

You're getting him mixed up with Freddie Kitchens

Croyle never had time to throw,.

“Sleepy Robinson”

Sleepy was a tremendous QB and a part of two good teams. But he suffered a horrendous knee injury that ended his career midway through the 1992 season. Very sad.

Steve Tanneyhill for South Carolina?

Anthony wright played for bad, possibly worst ever usce team(I think he played for a two year stretch with one win, not exactly sure on that but it was bad) anyway he had a very long nfl career as a serviceable backup.

Don’t even remember this, I remember dude being a beast of a DT qb at Oregon. Wasn’t he a heisman favorite and have big seasons for the ducks? How’d he end up in the sip

Bobo in 1996.

Murray in 2010.

But those two proved they could thrive in other years.

Preston Jones, started for UGA a few games, but never truly won the job as starting QB. We were pretty awful his first two seasons where he was battling with Greg Talley for the starting job. Zeier took the job from Talley in his freshman year and did not give it back until he finished playing.

Jones was third string on the depth chart, but ended up being rostered by the Eagles in the NFL for part of a season and played some Canadian Football for a couple of seasons. Had a rocket arm. Always wondered what might have happened if he had been on good teams when he got to UGA.

Yep. Terrible o-line but still put up good numbers. It seemed like he had a concussion every week.

Omarr Conner played at State from 03-06 mostly under Croom. He would've been a terror in a Dan Mullen offense. Poor guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Big, strong, athletic and could throw and run. From Noxubee County just like current State incoming freshman stud Kamario Taylor. In fact, I think Omarr is his uncle, cousin, or some sort of kin.
