My "way too early" 2012 predictions:

Disclaimer: This is JMHO.
Georgia
Undefeated. Possibly 1 loss. Returns the most and has the easiest schedule to navigate. Catch some luck in the SECCG and it's off to the races.
Alabama
2 losses. Michigan and LSU will catch us. A lot of talent, but not quite there and missing some key pieces.
LSU
This is tough. All that's coming back looks great. 2012 looks to be a great year on paper.
But...
With what is leaving, and Mett being unproven at best with no back-up but a TF (GK), no "go to" man, and a questionable LB corps; I see them dropping 2 games as well. A couple teams in the SEC are gonna catch them that they didn't see. They still beat Alabama in BR.
Who makes it to Atlanta?
Georgia - Again 1 loss or unbeaten
Alabama - The Tide edge LSU by only having 1 SEC loss to the Tigers 2.
Who wins?
Georgia. Heads to the BCSNCG
and...
Alabama heads to the Sugar Bowl.
Most likely to get an AT LARGE BCS bid?
LSU. Same record as Alabama, but beat the Tide in the regular season.
OR...
South Carolina. Beaten by Georgia but might not lose again. Georgia holds the tie-breaker and edges them out. Cocks could be another 1 loss team as well.
Team to watch?
Arkansas. They have the talent to compete no doubt, but it's still Arkansas. I would NOT be totally shocked if Arky made it to Atlanta, but would be less shocked if they turned into the season's "dissapointment."
Winner of the BCSNCG?
Southern Cal.
USC returns a great defense, that strangely did much better against speed in 2011. But with an offseason to get stronger they will shut down speed and/or power. 2012 USC defense will be VERY much like Alabama's 2009.
Georgia won't have the defense to hold up. Preparing for USC's offense is like game-planning for three QB's. Matt Barkley is deadly accurate whether it's a long or short ball.
That offense is at real as it gets and Lane Kiffin knows how to coach. Trying to cover deep, underneath, and stop the run will be too much.
From 00-05 it was USC against the world.
From 06-11 it was the SEC against the world.
From 12-(whenever UM builds tOSU back up)
it will be USC against the SEC.

Ok. Glad I didn't get confused again.

Yeah Michigan isn't beating Alabama. We return how many starters/guys who played as much as starters on defense? Williams, Square, Mosley, Nico, Milliner, Lester. 5 new starters? Not bad, seeing as how all of them got to play in our blow outs.

Yeah that's laughable. Bama matches up really well with Michigan. Arkansas and even Tennessee with Bray and their two good young receivers will give Bama a lot more problems than Michigan will.

Alabama goes 12-2.

Better chance Arkansas wins 11+ than 9 or fewer.

No more Jefferson should automatically catapult LSU to number 1

I just dont see a second loss.
Regarding Michigan, its going to be ugly. Denard isnt a good enough thrower to beat the secondary, and they certainly wont be able to run on Bama. Im thinking its going to be in the range of 41-10.

I definitely agree here. His lack of arm strength is going to kill him here.

8-4 for Bama next year.

and what's with USC getting all the love? Vandy could roll through the fricking pac12 next year.

He actually has a cannon. His problem is footwork and decision making. When he plants his foot, he can put it about any where on the field. The frustrating thing is that happens about 1 out of 5 throws.

I am not ready to concede to LsU just yet. Our entire ol and qb is back. El is a great back and Our pass rush should be pretty good this yr. Hart, and Fowler are certainly a good change of Pace for defenses to overcome. With the right OC and a little luck we can do really well. IMO lsU is the only game we might not be favored in.
