You paid top dollar for a seat on Saturday. And you didn't even use the seat as your team got beat down.

Keep talking that shite. There is a VERY good chance that we will meet again in the playoffs snd when that happens I'm paying top dollar to get a seat for that revenge beatdown. Thank god it won't be in that dreary rainy shithole known as Athens.

The top one was a specific one on Volnation.

Volnation:

quote:

Georgia had a LOT more 4 and 5 star recruits than we did. We got swarmed by their talent Any and all coaches need talent. Once we recruit better Heupel will be fine.

quote:

Georgia’s game plan was great and perfectly executed. Come out quick strike offense, get up early and put the pressure on UT. From there, win the defense and run game. It never really felt the game was out of reach though with our offense. 27-13 with an opportunity to make it a one score game there at the end, just couldn’t capitalize in the red zone.

quote:

The reasons for the loss are multifaceted. Talent certainly is a huge part, but it doesn’t excuse how unprepared this team was to play on the road. Sure, UT could have played its best game and still lost. Still, the Bama game kind of undermines this theory. Who played with more focus? UGA Who had a better game plan? UGA Who made better adjustments? UGA Did Heupel use a timeout once in the game to get his QB out of a bad play and make an in game adjustment? Go back and watch. I don’t think UT called a timeout in the entire 2nd half. The beating was much worse than the final score would indicate.

quote:

Georgia is simply the better team. We might fair a bit better on a neutral field but they have the talent to play tight press man to man coverage so we’re not gonna get those blown assignment plays like we did against teams playing zone. Couple that with one of the best defensive fronts and a linebacker group that is quick, athletic and extremely good at tackling and you just don’t have any easy yards. I’m sure someone tracks yards after contact and I bet it was a very low number yesterday - not because we suck or had an off day but because Georgia is just that good. They have a significant talent advantage over just about everyone and I believe are the best coached defensive team in the nation. Will Muschamp was never a great head coach but he’s definitely a great defensive coordinator. Hopefully we’ll bounce back and be ready to play the early game this Saturday- don’t want to lose to the same team two weeks in a row.

Like I said, your imagination is playing tricks on you.

Hooker missed on long balls that he hadn't been overthrowing all year. Heupel's offense is predicated on receivers getting separation and slightly underthrowing the long ball. Hooker was off track from the start and never could get on track.

quote:

"The weather killed our shot at a come back. We were moving the ball well just prior to the rain and continued to move it well in spite of it, but it stopped our deep shots."

The weather didn't help UT's offense...but it was out of sync, even when the weather was ok.

Lol.

UT didn't show enough for any UGA fan to be worried about a rematch.

It was out of synch... because UGA was playing really good defense.

Almost everyone has "a bad day' against our defense. But keep thinking it was your team who just had an off day rather than UGA making them look bad.

In the fact that Kirby went conservative with the offense, you are correct.

Comparing the Bama loss to the UT loss, UT has taken it far worse and have made tons of excuses.

At least Bamafan was humble in defeat.

5 stages of Grief.
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

Bama has reached the Acceptance phase. Vols are still vasillating between Denial and Bargaining.

It's time to begin the healing process Vols.

Do you think that maybe... just maybe... Hooker was off track from the start because UGA was in his face, pressuring and sacking him from the start? And the pressure was coming from all over? Of UGA's 8 TFL (six of them sacks) 2 came from DB, 3.5 from the DL and 2.5 from LB (none from our "normal" pass rushing LB spot).

UGA's gameplan was to force him to pass quick, take away the over the top passes and tackle well.

They executed. When UGA does that... your QB is going to struggle. UGA's defense has faced two QB's in the Heisman hunt this year.

One had 195 yards of passing. 5.9 yards per attempt and a pick with 17 rushing yards.

The other had 173 yards of passing. 4.7 yards per attempt and 2 picks with 37 yards rushing.

It's not the other team that makes QB's have bad games against UGA... not for Hendon Hooker or Bo Nix. UGA's defense is really good.

This is the key. People should go after the trolls and leave the good UT fans alone.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out. UT still has a shot at the playoffs, but it will all depend on how the other conferences and the SECCG plays out.

I finally figured out Tennessee’s problem and the solution.

They need to send Heupel to Auburn and hire a better coach. Two problems solved.
