place all the Bama on the officiating.
Freudian slip?

No one takes (A&M) who hasn't ever won anything seriously.

Not really. In any given year there are 1-3 teams that everyone thinks is the best at different times of the season. Teams from 3-15 are all very close and are often times capable of upsetting one of the top two or three. This year is no different.

If the only called fouls were those that impacted the play, we'd have a fraction of what we have now.
Not exactly how it works.

I have a degree from the University system so I pull for the Hogs when they're not playing Bama, but, one of the worst characteristics of Hog fans is the "blame it on the refs" excuse.
I can't argue with the Florida game but it was pretty obvious that it was a team effort to lose this one. Fumbles, stupid penalties, errors in the kicking game, questionable play calling...the refs didn't hurt you anywhere near what the Hogs did to themselves.
Easily could have won this one. Hog misfortune and errors beat the Hogs far more than the Aggies did.

I agree they definitely left the door open. but Ag's played lights out down the stretch. 21 unanswered, 4 and out in OT, Defense gave up 90 yards in the 2nd half and only 6 rushing yards in the 4th.
There are two sides to every coin.

I saw truly bad officiating yesterday.
Clock at 42 seconds. Intentional Grounding, on the offense, spot foul, by rule, since the clock was running in the 4th quarter, there is a 10 second runoff. Please reset the game clock to 15 seconds

Any time I see Ritter under the white hat, I know we're going to have an extra obstacle to overcome.

For the most part, that's exactly how it works. I don't know if "tripping" is a personal foul but if not, and it has no effect on the play, no need to throw a flag unless it's considered a personal foul.

I don't know, but, the general consensus from just about everyone on this board except Ag fans is that Arkansas blew the game rather than the Aggies beating them.
We're both privileged to have our opinions, but, I'm not sure how you could've been up by one or two touchdowns going into the 4th quarter when the Hogs were up by two and should've been up by 3 scores.
You won. My primary point was that the Hogs beat themselves rather than the ref's doing it. The Ags should and do get credit for putting themselves in position, but, the Ags didn't have anything to do with the Hog kicker missing by a mile. He makes that and you likely don't get your chance in OT.

I'm fine with you characterizing it however you choose to characterize it.
Makes no difference to me.
We played like crap; and over the past decade, those are the games we typically dropped.
This team pinned back their ears and didn't give up last night.
As I said in another thread, I'll take an ugly win over a well-played, close loss any day.
Glad to get out of it with a W.

Lots of talk here bout the refs, but that is something that seems to come up in every big game in the SEC.Point being, that shite happens all the time. To me, the aggies getting 2 long distance TD's when the hawg's DB's fell down was what made their comeback work. Take away those 2 long TD's, make them grind it out & burn a lot of clock, I think the hawgs run out the clock easily.I don't see any conspiracy, but the league has rep for crappy officiating.

that one call back turned out to be pivotable but your offense went in the tank too soon. your shitty FG kicker could have saved you but he is bad, real bad.
the aggies defense sold out and defended only the run late in the game and your coach obliged them. reminded me of les miles to be honest.

A&M definetly had to have some good fortune to win the game, but to think that it was one sided is ridiculous
He makes that and you likely don't get your chance in OT.
