Someone posted the SOS for all SEC teams and A&M's was one of the highest
quote:It's very possible aTm could go 5-6 or 4-6 their next 6 games though and that would leave aTm 7-5 OR 8-4 "at best" and all these new aTm trolls have been pounding their chest about JFF and the aTm program.
To be 5-1 right now is an accomplishment when everyone thought we might not win an SEC game.
FWIW Most of the SEC OP's on the rant predicted that aTm would probably be 7-5 and 8-4. So what's there to beat your chest about? That's the middle of the pack in the SEC.

You're ignorant about football if you can't see why A&M fans are beating their chest.

Not saying we're gonna win out our anything, but like I said. The title SUCKS. Needs to be
We've played exactly one team with a pulse in our first SEC game and first game of the year with a new coach, new scheme on both sides of the ball, brand new freshman QB playing in his first EVER NCAA game, and lost....by 3.
But SCREW all that. It's all bullshite. Assume we beat LSU. That doesn't mean we're good. It means LSU sucks!
What happens if we beat Bama? Bama sucks.
Even play Bama close, but still lose? A&M sucks!
It's the way this game will be played for the foreseeable future. Just deal with it, Aggies.
The reality is that we have to beat the frick out of everybody we play for three years in a row before was can even get excited, much less talk any shite. Until we are 50-1 under Sumlin against teams that finish in the top 10 every fricking year....SHUT THE frick UP......it means ALL THOSE TEAMS SUCK.
Learn the rules, Aggies. We've been here before.

And for the record. I will be attending church tonight to worship God. I worship KDS on Fridays, Johnny Messiah on Saturdays, and back to the Lord on Sundays!

Certainly you're not talking about LSU fans. We're more familiar with aTm's program than any other SEC school by a good stretch. Most of us have high regard for the program and a healthy respect for their history. The on again off again rivalry is back on. Expect nothing less than great competition. That being said, LSU has the best defense the Aggies will have faced to date. The Aggies have the home field and the single best offensive player in the SEC. Should be a great game.

The Black Bears gave up 66 to an obviously average at best UT team. La.Tech is a WAC team & last in the country in defensive stats, give or take 1-2 other teams at the bottom.Hope all you want, we all do that. But just go back & look at all the "JFF is the Greatest" threads started by you aggies. That is what everyone here is laughing at, we know how tough the SEC is & spurs need to be earned.

Why do you think that total defense is even a relevant statistic for option passing teams like La Tech and Texas A&M?
Just in case anybody actually thinks that total defense exists in a vacuum (or this is the first time they've ever watched football), notice that in two SEC games Texas A&M has had TD scoring drives which included
Ark
1:37 (79 yards), 11 seconds (80 yards), 50 seconds (50 yards) 2 minutes (91 yards), 2:48 (89 yards)
(+3 in turnovers, lost TOP by 4 minutes, allowed 515 yards of total offense, won by 48 points)
Miss
47 seconds(75 yards), 2:11 (88 yards), 1:16 (39 yards)
(-4 in turnovers, lost TOP by 5:20, allowed 464 yards, won by 3)
It's a fact that when your offense regularly spends less than two or three minutes on scoring drives your defense spends more time on the field, plays more downs generally, and allows more yards generally.
Since this is true, total defense is irrelevant.

Look at LSU's games from this year. They whipped sorry arse auburn's arse by 2, Beat the hell out of towson by 16 and they are really good. Also issued a beat down to North Texas. Grow a pair.

This may be true against the Ole Misses and La Techs of the world, but you will soon find out it is VERY relevant against LSU and Bama.

If by horse shite you mean the nation's best defensive teams the last few years, then I agree. Other than Okie State's loss to Iowa State last year, Bama has made their own luck you DA.
