I'm as guilty as anyone, but we need to earn our way with these folk. We're dealing with football fanatics, just like us. They do their homework and are very knowledgeable about the world's greatest sport and particularly, the greatest football conference in the world.
If JFF is the player we all hope he is, he'll get his due and EARN the respect of SEC fans.
When we come over here and beat our chests like we've done something, we look like arrogant assholes. Let's see what happens with the challenges ahead and if we do well, the country will join in.

Most Ags are keeping expectations in check and hoping for the best. A few trolls notwithstanding.
In reality it is the insecure SECranters from other schools that are worried so they set out to try to diminish A&M 's level of play so far this year. By saying A&M hasn't faced a real SEC defense, they completely ignore that we've played Florida in the first game. So it will not be a completely new level we need to adjust to, unless they think Florida isn't very good.
We'll all know soon enough how well A&M stacks up against LSU. No more hiding behind hypotheticals. Strap it up!
