Bruce Feldman saying one of the factors in Muschamp's hiring is "his knowledge of Saban".

After perusing both Texas and Florida boards, I can safely say I have never seen a double meltdown over a coaching hire.

UT melting because he is leaving and UF melting because he is coming.

It is very entertaining!

I'm not sure if I like that hire. I think its comparable to a Ron Zook hiring...

Wow, didn't see this coming. I guess some coaches turned down Florida.

why not? We faired pretty well against him when he was DC at Auburn, plus he's never been in a HC position before which calls for a near inevitable screw-up here or there. The only negative I see as of this moment is that now hating the UF coach is going to be done with some hesitation

There were conspiracies that he was throwing the games against UGA at Auburn because he loves UGA so much.

Jimbo Fisher said he and Will Muschamp own a beach house together in Florida.

Talk about an odd rivalry.

I never thought that Muschamp would make a great head coach, I think he coaches with too much emotion that is just better suited to an assistant.

I guess it is time to find out if I were right or not.
