You could tell every time that he went to scramble that he was indecisive because of the ankle
- bobbled fumble in first drive, where he stopped suddenly
- several times that he could have run, but stayed in the pocket instead. One of those was right outside of the end zone
He was decidedly uncomfortable on the ankle. Any moron could tell as much - even cajuns

Is this true, though?
Tua has had just 1 game in 2019 with over 15 rushing yards and 4 games with negative rushing yards.

There were a couple of times where had he been able to scramble or plant better that would have made markable improvement on his game. But LSU would have won that game even with a 100% Tua.

The hell is the point of this thread then? A question was asked and answers were given.
Nobody in this thread that I can remember said it was the difference in the game. I certainly didn't.

He stopped to try and juke the defenders closing in on him. I'd say the ankle was fine at the time given he rolled it trying to get back to the ball and still walked off just fine without any limp.
The slide short of the first was the only play that was obvious he would have done something different without the injury. Even then, I thought it was apparent that the slide was a coach's directive of "don't take any hit" vs a "I'm hurting and don't want to get hit" moment.
