Mark Richt and Kirby Smart have identical records each of their first three seasons at Georgia. Richt was the man and a good coach. You'll end up with a truly shite coach one of these days and you'll realize how good you had it.

You are right. Ray Goff was fairly bad but that has been so long ago some Dawg fans have forgotten

Very fair post. He is closing the gap from two years ago talent wise, but Georgia is loaded. Will be very interesting. The way Pruitt is recruiting and the staff he has could make Tenn a fighter as well in a few years. East could be entertaining.

You had me until the Pruitt stuff. Tennessee is dead and gone forever. They are the Nebraska of the SEC.

So I guess when UGA won the East in 2017, won the SEC Championship, the Rose Bowl, and took Bama into OT in the Natty it didn't matter much

Well you lost two games that year, both to SEC Best teams. So no it didn’t matter.

We get it, LSU can't finish higher than 3rd in the SEC West and you have to make yourself feel better about that.

Weird argument to make after LSU beat that arse by twenty points last year

LSU, Auburn, A&M all would have won the Easy at least 3 of the last 5 years if they played in that cake division. Heck even State and Ole Miss would have won it a couple of times

So An Auburn team that lost 4 games was better than the 2017 UGA team? LSU wouldn’t have won the east this past year. You lost to Florida, you would’ve lost at least one of the two west games you would have to play (probably against Texas A&M) and you would’ve dropped one to Kentucky or some other team like that. LSU has been extremely irrelevant since 2011. You won a fluke game against us in Tiger Stadium and we won’t see you for another 5 years because we all know you won’t make it to Atlanta.
